PolyTel™ Engineered Plastics
Engineered Thermoplastic Materials for High-Pressure Sealing Systems
Operational conditions today demand sealing solutions and engineered sealing solutions that can withstand higher pressures, wider temperature ranges, and aggressive media. Selecting the right elastomer materials and high-performance seals to perform reliably under these challenges can be complex. With over 50 years of expertise in sealing technology, we partner with you to meet these requirements.
Our PolyTel™ engineered thermoplastic materials are specifically designed for bearing applications. They provide support and protection for sealing systems exposed to extreme pressures, large extrusion clearance gaps, and hardware deflections. These materials are ideal for use in hydraulic piston seals, pneumatic piston seals, and other critical components where durability and precision are essential.
PolyTel™ Materials Provide:
- Low friction
- Good chemical resistance
- Good specific bearing loads
- Good wear resistance
Below is a list of PolyMod® Technologies’ popular PolyTel™ compounds. Specific materials are normally suggested by our Technical Service Team based upon your input and operational conditions.
