Elastomer seal for static applications. Q-Rings have increased resistance to rolling in the gland compared to O-Rings.
Available in various elastomers. PolyMod® and UltraMod™ low friction Q-Rings are recommended for applications requiring low stiction and improved wear. PolyMod® Q-Rings are available in all materials except silicone and fluorosilicone. UltraMod™ Q-Rings are available in fluoroelastomer compounds only.
Operating Ranges:
- Temperature range: Approximately -148°F to +500°F (-100°C to +260°C), depending on the compound
