Our History

PolyMod® Technologies Inc. was established in 1992 by William S. Shamban, we continued forward momentum for the next few years. In 1993, we received our international patent for our PolyMod® friction reduction process, a process we are proud to call the “PolyMod® Advantage”. The next year in 1994, PolyMod® Technologies Inc. was the first company to develop an approved material to meet the NAS1613 specification.

In order to remain competitive and credible in the sealing industry, we have maintained the AS9100 and ISO certifications for over 25 years. To this day, we are still involved in committees such as SAE and NFPA. This is the foundation of our business as it allows us to understand current and future industry needs as they evolve so we can deliver the best solutions to our customers.

From day one, we have been dedicated to offering a diverse range of products. From O-Rings to highly engineered seals, we can meet the demands of various applications and market sectors. For more than 30 years we have been providing products to the Aerospace, Medical, Automotive, and many more markets worldwide.
