Single acting sealing element comprising a PolyFluor™ U-shaped ring and a metal spring energizer. The FluoroFlex™ seal is resistant to most liquids and chemicals. It can be used to seal pistons subject to static loads. Two FluoroFlex Piston seals, installed in separate grooves, heel to heel, are required for use on a piston.
FluoroFlex™ seals are available in most PolyFluor™ materials.
Operating Ranges:
- Temperature: Approximately -238°F to +440°F (-150°C to +225°C)
- Pressure: Up to 6,500 PSI (45 MPa)
