A single acting PolyFluor™ U-shaped seal with an O-Ring utilized as an elastic spring. It is used for pistons subjected to static loads. Two ElastoFlex Piston seals, installed in separate grooves, heel to heel, are required for use on a piston.
ElastoFlex™ Piston seals are available in most PolyFluor™ materials and the O-Ring element is available in a wide variety of elastomeric materials.
Operating Ranges:
- Temperature: Approximately -65°F to +392°F (-60°C to +200°C), depending on the O-Ring compound
- Pressure: Up to 8,700 psi (60 MPa)
