RotoGlide Rings are designed to seal pivoting, helically moved and rotating pistons, rods and shafts. They are used with an O-ring as an energizer. All operating conditions and system variables must be reviewed before RotoGlide Rings can be recommended.
RotoGlide Rings are available in most PolyFluor™ and some PolyTel™ compounds. The O-ring energizers are available in a wide variety of elastomers.
Operating Ranges:
- Speed: 3 ft/s (1 m/s) maximum
- Temperature: Approximately -40°F to +300°F (-40°C to +150°C), depending on the O-Ring compound
- Pressure: Up to 4,350 psi (30 MPa)
