Flexible shaft and bearing seals with an axial lip. These V-Seals fit directly on the shaft and seal axially against a counter face e.g., shaft collars, thrust washers, or the face of a roller bearing. V-Seals provide reliable sealing against dust, dirt, oil, grease, etc. PolyMod® and UltraMod™ V-Seals have characteristically very low friction.
These can be supplied in nitrile and fluoroelastomers.
Operating Ranges:
- Speed: Up to approximately 39 ft/s (12 m/s)
- Temperature: Approximately -40°F to +350°F (-40°C to +180°C), depending on the elastomer compound
