Single acting sealing element comprising of a PolyFluor™ U-shaped ring and a metal spring energizer. FluoroFlex Rotary seals have low friction, no stick-slip effect, and are wear-resistant. They can be used as a dynmaic seal for rotating shafts. FluoroFlex seals are resistant to most liquids and chemicals.
FluoroFlex™ Rotary Seals are available in most PolyFluor™ materials.
Operating Ranges:
- Speed: Reciprocating motion and rotation up to approximately 6.5 ft/s (2 m/s)
- Temperature: Approximately -238°F to +440°F (-150°C to +225°C)
- Pressure: Up to 5,000 psi (35 MPa)
