Double acting seal for rods subjected to dynamic loads that fit into standard O-Ring grooves. It uses an O-ring energizer. For longer seal life, it is recommended that a PolyMod® or UltraMod™ low friction O-Ring be used. The PolyCap™ moves easily, has no stick-slip effect, and is wear-resistant.
PolyCaps™ are available in most PolyFluor™ materials.

- Speed: Reciprocating motion up to approximately 49 ft/s (15 m/s)
- Temperature: Approximately -65°F to +392°F (-54°C to +200°C), depending on the elastomer energizer compound
- Dynamic Pressure: Up to 5,000 PSI (35 Mpa)
