Double acting elastomer seal for static and dynamic applications and as a cap energizer.
Can be supplied in a wide variety of elastomeric materials e.g. nitrile, fluoroelastomer, ethylene propylene, neoprene, silicone, fluorosilicone, etc. PolyMod® low friction O-Rings are recommended for most dynamic applications and are available in all materials except silicone and fluorosilicone. UltraMod™ low friction O-rings are the preferred choice for the lowest friction O-Rings in fluoroelastomer compounds.

Square Ring
|

Elastomeric square ring for direct contact static seals, cap energizers and in special applications - dynamic seals. These seals have high sealing efficiency and shape stability. PolyMod® and UltraMod™ low friction Square Rings are preferred for dynamic applications.
Available in many nitrile, ethylene propylene and fluoroelastomer formulations. UltraMod™ low friction Square Rings are only available in fluoroelastomer materials.

Q-Ring
|

|
Double acting seal for static and dynamic applications. Q-Rings have lower friction than O-Rings and increased resistance to rolling in the gland.
Available in various elastomers. PolyMod® and UltraMod™ low friction Q-Rings are recommended for applications requiring low friction and improved wear. PolyMod® Q-Rings are available in all materials except silicone and fluorosilicone. UltraMod™ Q-Rings are available in fluoroelastomer compounds only.

Back-Up Ring

Provided as part of a seal assembly to prevent seal-extrusion. Back-up rings are generally used with system pressures of approximately 1150 psi (8 MPa) to 10000 psi (69 MPa). These can be supplied in solid, scarf cut and spiral designs.
Available in most PolyFluor™ and PolyTel™ materials.

Piston U-Cup
|

Single acting seal for dynamic applications. Two U-Cups, installed in separate grooves, heel to heel, are required for use on a piston. U-Cups are compact and versatile lip type seals and can be supplied in a wide range of cross sections, diameters, and several configurations, e.g. AN style, rounded or flat lips, symmetric or asymmetric. These designs coupled with the wide range of available elastomer compounds result in a versatile line of sealing devices. PolyMod® and UltraMod™ U-Cups are low friction and long life seals.
PolyMod® low friction U-Cups are available in most materials- exceptions are silicone and fluorosilicone. UltraMod™ low friction U-Cups are available in fluoroelastomer compounds only.

DeltaMod™ Piston Seal assembly

Has a unique geometry to prevent rolling, spiraling and extrusion of the elastomer seal element. The reduced footprint and the PolyMod® or UltraMod™ elastomer provide for both low friction and long wear life while maintaining excellent leakage control. These assemblies can be used in standard O-Ring glands.
PolyMod® low friction DeltaMod™ Piston Seals are available in most materials- exceptions are silicone and fluorosilicone. UltraMod™ low friction DeltaMod™ Piston Seals are available in fluoroelastomer compounds only. The back-up ring elements are available in most PolyFluor™ and some PolyTel™ materials.

PolyTee™ Piston Seal assembly

Has a unique geometry to prevent rolling and spiraling of the elastomer seal element. Traditionally this type of seal has been used primarily as a static seal but it works well dynamically as the PolyMod® or UltraMod™ elastomer provides for both low friction and better wear life as compared to conventional T-Seals. PolyTee™ Seal Assemblies can be used in standard O-ring glands.
PolyMod® PolyTee™ Piston Seals are available in most materials- except silicone and fluorosilicone. UltraMod™ PolyTee™ Piston seals are available in fluoroelastomer compounds only. The back-up ring elements are available in most PolyFluor™ and some PolyTel™ materials.

Double acting seal for pistons subjected to dynamic loads. The Piston Glide Ring has low friction, no stick-slip, minimal break-out forces and is wear-resistant. It can be installed with an O-Ring or, for improved seal force and wear, a Square Ring energizer can be used.

Piston Buffer Ring

Single acting sealing element for pistons subjected to dynamic loads. The Buffer Ring is used together with an O-Ring as an assembly. It moves easily, has no stick-slip effect, and is wear-resistant. In higher pressure systems it buffers the pressure to prevent seal damage and minimize leakage.
Piston Buffer Rings are available in most PolyFluor™ and PolyTel™ materials.

PolyCap™ Piston Seal Assembly

Has a unique elastomer energizer geometry that allows for a thicker PolyFluor™ cap and distributes seal force over a broader area. This serves to reduce friction and extends service life beyond that for the PolyCap™ Seal. It is recommended primarily as a reciprocating seal, but can be used in static applications.

AP™ Seal

Double acting seal consisting of an uniquely configured plastic body, a Square Ring energizer and a positive contact PolyMod® or UltraMod™ Q-Ring. The plastic seal element is uniformly energized by the Square Ring to maintain proper sealing force even at low system pressure. The uniform and consistent sealing force applied by the low friction Q-Ring provides for zero leak and zero drift. The AP Seal is designed for use in hydraulic pistons and gas over oil piston accumulators.
The plastic body can be supplied in most PolyFluor™ and PolyTel™ materials. UltraMod™ low friction Q-Rings are available in fluoroelastomer compounds only.

FluoroDiamond™ Piston Wear Ring

Piston wear rings are used to guide the piston in the cylinder tube and absorb transverse forces. FluoroDiamond™ refers to a special surface structure which is provided on the sliding surface only. The advantages are improvement of the lubrication properties, no stick-slip effect, higher load capacity and wear-resistance.
