PolyMod® Technologies Inc. (“PolyMod Tech”) welcomes your visit to our website, PolyMod.com (the “Site”), and appreciates your interest in our products and services.  Your privacy is important to us, and we want you to feel comfortable visiting the Site.  The protection of the privacy of your personal data is an important concern to which we pay special attention during our business processes.  Accordingly, we have adopted the following policies and procedures to ensure that any information you provide to us on the Site is treated and used appropriately and with your full knowledge and consent. The purpose of this Privacy Statement is to explain what information we may collect from you and how this information may be used.

This Privacy Statement sets forth the information gathering, use and dissemination practices of PolyMod Tech in connection with the Site.  This Privacy Statement addresses our practices regarding information collected only directly through or from the Site; it does not address or govern any information gathering, use or dissemination practices related to information collected other than directly through or from the Site, including, without limitation, from or via telephone, facsimile, postal mail, personal delivery or other or additional offline means or media.

PolyMod Tech may collect information that you voluntarily and knowingly provide on the Site through, but not limited to:  an online form (for example, Request for Information, Request for Quote, etc.), when you email content to PolyMod Tech in connection with submission of an online form, when you enter a contest or other promotional event on the Site, fill out a survey on the Site, or other similar mechanism.  Information you provide is collected in order to:  obtain our products or services, obtain information about our products and services, and to comply with requirements of regulators, if any.  Such information may include, but is not limited to:  first and last name, street address, zip code, e mail address and phone number.  We may collect additional personal information that you volunteer while using the Site and/or our services.  This information is used by us to provide information to you and to contact you.

PolyMod Tech may also automatically collect general, non-personal data pertaining to every Site visitor including, but not limited to:  your IP address, the operating system used by your computer, type of Internet browser you are using, the length of time spent on the Site and the pages accessed while visiting the Site.  This information is collected to, among other things:  gather statistical information, improve the content of our site, and enhance the experience of users to our site.

PolyMod Tech may use "cookies" on some pages of our site, simply to help us serve you better each time you return.  A cookie is a small element of data that a web site can send to your browser, which may then store it on your system.  The data collected from cookies helps us determine how many people visit this site and what pages they view.  We use this information to better serve all visitors as we improve our Site content and design. You can set your Internet browser to reject cookies or to warn you before you accept a cookie.

Any communications or information sent to or posted on the Site by you via e-mail or otherwise, including any comments, data, questions, suggestions or the like, are treated confidentially by PolyMod Tech.  PolyMod Tech will not disclose voluntarily provided details to third parties, except for our business partners or other entities performing a service or activity that you have requested from the Site, or use the information in any other way without prior consent.  PolyMod Tech may disclose information you have provided to us without your consent if we have a good faith belief that such disclosure is necessary to (1) comply with the law or with legal process served on us; or (2) protect and defend the rights or property of our company.

If PolyMod Tech gathers demographic information from you (for example, your age, education level or household income), we will not share that information in a manner that identifies you as an individual with any other entity, unless we let you know that at the time of collection.

You have the right to access your information held by PolyMod Tech and, where necessary, to have it amended.  You can also request not to receive marketing information from PolyMod Tech.

A Special Note about Children
The Site is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. PolyMod Tech will not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 18 without insisting that they seek prior parental consent if required by applicable law.  If you are a parent who believes that your child has submitted personal information to this Site, you are encouraged to contact us.

PolyMod Tech may change this Privacy Statement at any time. Notice of any new or revised Privacy Statement, as well as the location of the new or revised statement, will be posted on the Site for at least 60 days after the change.  It is the obligation of users visiting the Site before the change to learn of changes to the Privacy Statement since their last visit.

By submitting or posting information to the Site, you consent to the use of the information by PolyMod Tech as described above.
